Implant Restorations

s-smile2

After dental implants have been surgically placed, a ceramic crown is placed on top allowing your dental implants to look and function like your own natural teeth. This process is called the restoration of dental implants.

Dental implant restorations typically cannot be performed for up to four months after surgery to ensure that proper healing and bone remodeling has occurred. This healing period allows the implant to fully integrate, thus achieving satisfactory stability.

The implant process will involve another specialist, such as an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist, that we work closely with to ensure that your results are satisfactory.
Dr. Kapp will also work with you personally to create a customized treatment plan to ensure your dental implant restorations closely match the surrounding natural teeth.  Generally, this process will take multiple visits to ensure that your crowns are functionally and cosmetically successful.

Dental implants and restorations are the ideal solution for people replacing one, several, or all of their natural teeth.

Please contact our office with any additional questions regarding implant restorations.
